Whether you pass or fail the exams depends significantly on your perspective of the lessons that are being taught.

Life’s University of higher education can hold some of the most fabulous and rewarding instructions. Whether you pass or fail the exams depends significantly on your perspective of the lessons that are being taught.
There is one thing that I'm beginning to understand, and it is that a perspective that is solely dependent upon oneself can be fundamentally flawed, with only moments of seeing correctly. This faulty perception can be due to unbridled feelings that can get in the way and lead to misunderstandings and incorrect conclusions. Conclusions that are also developed from imagined future events that we have no assurance of what will be good or bad even though they make perfect sense and appear completely reasonable within our mind's imagination.
So what is one to do?
"Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6 Amplified)
This is not to say that you cannot make any choices and decisions, but true wisdom says that those choices and decisions are filtered through Yahweh and what comes out leads to life and life more abundantly. (And not just for you alone.) So, your daily prayer says something like this:
"My Lord, I thank you for the knowledge that you have already supplied to me. I ask, along with that wisdom, that I may have a full understanding so that I can rightly handle all that is within my field of vision and placed into my hands. Amen."
