God Has a Plan...

"In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths." (Proverbs 3:6 Amplified Version – emphasis added)

Let me help my brothers and sisters in Christ out— Yes, there is scripture where God says "I know the PLANS that I have for you..." (Jeremiah 29:11) This does NOT mean that God is sitting around trying to "plan" your life which implies that He is trying to "figure out" it out. Everything about Him is eternal, which includes His knowledge, and that means any "plans" He has, are already done. We are the ones learning those plans and learning to operate in them.

This points us to the fact that before you even arrived and breathed your first breath that the "plans" were already done and in place. Thinking any other way will put us in a frame of mind that we are "waiting" on God to move and not fully grasping the FACT that He already has. YOU have to connect with Him so that you begin to see what He reveals as the plans for you whether it is piece by piece or all in one vision and then YOU GET UP AND PUT INTO ACTION WHAT HE HAS ALREADY COMPLETED! 

Allow me to add this footnote. Even though His plan is complete, it does not mean that you do not have free will, creativity, knowledge, and wisdom or that you are just a puppet dangling on strings waiting for Him to move you along. He did not create us to operate like that. That would not reflect our being made in His image in any way.

So, how do you connect with His plan? You connect through prayer and asking God to show you what you may not see right now. You connect by knowing your gifting(s) and figuring out a way for your gifts to provide for you and thereby glorifying God. And where you lack wisdom, you can ask Him for that too, and He will give it to you along with understanding. 

Proverbs 3:6 says it like this.

"In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths." (Amplified Version – emphasis added)

I admit that this now prompts a question. How do we hear that direction?  It may surprise you that it may not come in a voice from on high. Not to say that YHWH wouldn't do so, but often it can come through someone else that is already putting the wisdom that you need to work in their lives. It could be what we call that "light bulb" moment when that clarity hits. It could be when you overheard another's conversation that was on precisely what you are dealing with. The key is to be open and listening.

The world believes that our God is weak or does not exist because of what they often see from us who call ourselves the "children of God" when we often look more like "children of neglect"! This is not to say that we will not suffer losses, have assorted troubles and battles, but through ALL of it, the world should STILL see the presence of GOD even during those times!

So, if you have been waiting on YHWH to move and have not seen or heard anything, it may be because now it is your turn to move and begin to work the start of the plan that you already have within your ability to accomplish.
